Cēsis in Minecraft

The Latvian city Cēsis has been created in Minecraft. Local citizens will be invited to add to the model to make it even more detailed.

GeoBoxers made Cēsis in Minecraft from real-world GIS and geospatial data for the Swedish university in Skövde, that partners in the Baltic Sea Region Culturability project.

Cēsis in Minecraft is based on data from Latvian Geospatial Information Agency and OpenStreetMap.
